La tarde del viernes 13 de Septiembre de 1985 dos jóvenes llegaron muy puntuales al Templo de San Francisco en Celaya. Ya estaban ahí sus familiares y amigos dispuestos a presenciar su boda.
Un mes antes —el 3 de agosto— ya habían contraído matrimonio por el civil pero para ellos ese no era el importante. El bueno era éste, porque habían invitado como testigo nada más y nada menos que al mismísimo Padre Celestial.
—Así es que se quieren casar —exclamó Dios con su paternal sonrisa y mirándolos desde el altar.
Ellos intercambiaron miradas y sonrieron apenados.
—Muy bien, pues que así sea, pero antes quiero decirles algo.
Los jóvenes lo miraron con interés.
—Esta gran aventura que ustedes están por iniciar contendrá muchas experiencias. Vivirán momentos felices, pero también enfrentarán adversidades que pondrán a prueba su carácter.
Manténganse firmes. Recuerden que la clave es el amor y si ustedes mejorarán en mí yo mejorarán en ustedes.

Ambos asintieron con la cabeza mirándolo con seriedad.
—Bien, pues que empiece esta gran aventura —Dijo Dios sonriendo y dirigiéndose hacia ellos los abrazó y les dio su bendición.
Por eso es que hoy quiero darle gracias a Dios por habernos permitido llegar a este día y a Maru por su paciencia durante estos 37 años de vida matrimonial. Seguimos adelante ofreciéndole a nuestro Padre Celestial cada cosa que hacemos, para gloria suya y como una forma de agradecerle el gran amor que ha tenido con nosotros.
